Hello Detroit Vocal Section Herman "Chubby" Boothe on Lead and Backup Vocals...
Chubby, originally from Virginia, lives in Haverhill, MA. He has sung in the Virginia State Regional Choir, and the Zion Mass Choir in Lynn, MA. Chubby's been singing for thirty years with other bands such as Chocolate Rock and The Fundamentals.

Jim Brauneck on Trumpet...
Jim Branuneck Jim is originally from New York and has played trumpet as well as flute, trombone, bass, and sax for the last 25 years. Jim lives in Bradford, MA and teaches music in Newbury, MA.


Pat Rose Pat Rose on Lead and Back-up Vocals...
Pat is a Realtor in the Greater New Hampshire Seacoast and Southern Maine area. She lives in Dover, NH with her husband and two children.

She has been singing since the age of 2. She has performed with Tony Vance and Finesse and has had the honor of opening for Aaron Neville when he performed in Hampton Falls on behalf of WERZ. Since 1995, Pat has sung with the 10 piece Motown band Hello Detroit as a lead and backup vocalist since the band's inception, and is the group's lead spokesperson and organizer. She helped form Miraj - a 4 piece function, club, and dance band - in 2001, and is its lead singer. She plays acoustic and electric guitar, and can at times be talked into a little keyboard work.

She performs a wide variety of music under the banner of Songs From the Heart. Since 1981 she has accompanied herself on guitar for the 4pm Saturday Mass at St. Christopher's Church in York, Maine, she has played the singing role of Mary there every year since the early 90's in their Easter play musical, and has cantored regularly at the 10:30am Sunday Mass at St. Catherine's in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She even sang and accompanied herself on guitar at her own wedding!

She "gets by" accompaning herself on acoustic guitar and is in the process of learning piano and keyboards. She has taken many voice and ear training courses. In January of 2002, she traveled to California for a weeks study under world famous Voiceworks owner and master performer Lisa Popeil at her "Total Singer Workshop". She teaches performance vocal technique on a select basis. Come visit Pat at her day job...

Walter Selima on Tenor Sax...
Walter Selima Walter started playing violin at age 8. He graduated from the Navy School of Music, Norfolk, Virginia. He was assigned to the First Army Band in New York City and played with Lew Soloff, lead trumpet for Blood Sweat and Tears, Mike Garson, Keyboard player for David Bowie, Tom Salisbury, producer of the Pointer Sisters, and Danny DiImperio, drummer for Maynard Fergussion.

He has performed at Madison Square Garden, Shea Stadium and Walt Disney World. He is currently band director at the Pine Grove School in Rowley, Massachusetts.


"Bobby T" Trask on Baritone Sax...
Bob Trask Bob's from Rye, NH and is a member of the staff of the Portsmouth Bluesfest. He's been playing the sax since the days of Buddy Holly. He's played with the Practical Cats, The Movers, Soul On Ice, and The Falcons.


Lonnie Wescott on Keyboards...
LonnieWescott Lonnie is a veteran music teacher who has taught in schools from Aroostook to York County. He received an Associate of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from UMaine, a Bachelor of Music Education Degree from USM, and is pursuing a Masters in Instrumental Conducting from Plymouth State College. He is currently the director of music at Traip Academy in Kittery, Maine, where he teaches Band, Chorus, Guitar, Piano, Music Theory, and Music Composition.

He was the conductor of the 1999 MMEA District VI Jr. Honors Band. His other performance credits include New York's Carnegie Hall, cathedrals and concert halls throughout Europe and the Eastern United States, and many New England venues. He has performed with the Symphonic Wind Ensemble of the University of Maine, the 20th Century Music Ensemble, the University Singers, the Colby Wind Ensemble, the Colby Jazz Band, The USM Jazz Band, the USM Wind Ensemble, the UMaine Marching Band, the UMaine Pep Band, and many other bands, choruses, and jazz combos.

Lonnie regularly adjudicates at auditions such as the Maine All-State Jazz Auditions, and serves as Executive Editor for the Maine Music Educators' Association. He lives in Berwick, Maine, with his son Nicholas, 13, and daughter Shannan, 8.


Jeff Wilson Jeff Wilson on Bass Guitar...
Jeff is a "native son" of Detroit. Growing up there in the sixties, he was inspired into a career in music by the great "Motown" Sounds, and the city's fertile jazz scene. An accomplished guitarist as well as bassist, Jeff works as a sideman with several groups in the greater Boston and Seacoast areas.

He divides his time between performing, teaching, writing and recording his own music as well as music for radio and television commercials, and film documentaries. Jeff says "playing with Hello Detroit is like a trip back home"!!!
